GUNSMITH'S

I have phoned  the gunsmith section on 4 occasions requesting status on my two guns, very little help.

I was told that gun #829 was completed but that gun #828 had not been cleaned. I found this odd because the numbers on the two invoices were #828 & #829 which means both guns should have been cleaned back to back and not at a later date and 3 other phone calls.

Good morning Steven,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your business with us, give you a brief description of how our shop operates and why guns are sometimes handled such as yours were.  On top of the large customer base Tim and myself have built over the past 8 years reaching out to several neighboring states, running the shop at Gander Mountain has been an overwhelming yet exciting adventure thus far. I closed my own shop in September of last year to join hands with Gander Mountain.  Now, getting to your guns, they were handled in two steps for this reason, SO #828 was a drilling and I will not let just anyone touch drillings because of their intricate and complex workings.  That being said I do most of the machine work, trigger jobs, custom building and have the experience with drillings so I worked on your gun and Tim handled the 62 SO#829, so yes they were done at different times because of our different work loads and expertise.
I sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding and/or miss quote of time frame since we are still working on the time frames it takes to not only deal with the work load but also the phone and counter time it takes from our day to day work.  I would again like to thank you for your time and understanding.  Please be aware that when you come to pick-up your firearms that I will have attached a discount card for any further business that you do with Gander Mountain in the future.

Thank you,
Scott Stromeyer
