WRANPS, INC.

Please save your time and money, this organization is nothing but a SCAM, and the organizations pretending to help WRANPS should not be dealt with.

Wranps has received $70,000.00 of your tax money over a three period.

This tax money can from your Secretary of State, Eric Clark, which is the overseer of the Tidelands Trust Funds.

Eric Clark approved the three illegal grants to be given to WRANPS by the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources.

The Mississippi PEER Commission decided your tax dollars should not have gone to WRANPS, but who is going to tell the Secretary of State, Eric Clark.

I have, over the past years requests our Mississippi State Auditor, Phil Bryant, to audit WRANPS, but to my knowledge no audit has been preformed.

The Land in which WRANPS is located belongs to the UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI (USM), so I guess you could say the WRANPS is political, and as we know in Mississippi that makes the organization corrupt

I find it amazing how deep the corruption goes to fund a SCAM organization, "WRANPS, INC.", a group which will lie, cheat, and steal for you.

Corruption runs deep in MISSISSIPPI, and in this case it begins at the top of the food chain.

The Wildlife Rehabilitation and Nature Preservation Society is presenting a special dinner and show sponsored by The Alexis Theatre on May 4.

A four course dinner catered by The 27th Avenue Bistro and prepared by Chef Michael Giampa will be served as you settle back to watch the evening's entertainment with nature's favorite villain.

"The Trial of the Big, Bad Wolf" was the Grand Prize Winner at the 1995 International Chunchou Theatre Festival held in Korea.

The event will help WRANPS continue 20 years of work rescuing, and rehabilitating injured and orphaned native wildlife.

The Coastal Wildlife Center is facing a financial crisis, and this fund-raiser kicks off several events that are planned through 2003 to prevent the center from closing its doors.

WRANPS is supported primarily through donations and is a 501C, non-profit corporation. Last year WRANPS cared for almost 2,000 wild animals, which had been impacted primarily due to human-related impacts.

This year as many as 3,000 animals are expected to pass through the doors of the Coastal Wildlife Center.

Call 896-2300 for reservations to attend this evening of food and fun. Seating is limited. Your $50 ticket will benefit WRANPS, as well as Gulfport's Little Theatre.
