Tidelands
Top

Those lands which are daily covered and uncovered by water by the action of the tides, up to the mean line of the ordinary high tides.

WRANPS NEVER DID MEET THE REQUIREMENT FOR MISSISSIPPI TIDELANDS TRUST FUND TAX DOLLARS.

I HAVE FOR SEVERAL YEARS NOW BEEN TRYING TO GET INFORMATION FROM THE SECRETARY OF STATE, BUT AS YOU WILL SEE, THIS NEW ADMINISTRATION SEEM TO BE AS SILENT AS THE PAST ADMINISTRATION.

IT IS A SIMPLE QUESTION, IS THE SECRETARY OF STATE, THE PERSON IN CHARGE OF THE MISSISSIPPI TIDELANDS TRUST FUND, PROVIDING GRANT MONEY TO THE, WILDLIFE REHABILITATION & NATURE PRESERVATION SOCIETY, INC., (WRANPS)

IF SO, THEN WHY?

I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED AN ANSWER BACK FROM THE SECRETARY OF STATE, AND I AM BEING TOLD BY HIS STAFF MEMBER THAT BY ASKING MY QUESTION I AM BEING DISRESPECTFUL TO THE SECRETARY OF STATE.

WHAT DO YOU THE PEOPLE OF MISSISSIPPI THINK, AM I BEING DISRESPECTFUL!!!

This fellow has been saying the same thing for many years and he’s wrong about the accusations.  The web site appears to be the exactly same as it has always been – he just changed the name from Eric Clark to Hosemann.  I’ll see if we recovered the old file about the history of why this guy is so sore.

Secretary of State:

So, what you are telling me is that the Secretary of State, which is in charge of the Tidelands Trust Fund, allows the Department of Marine Resources to provide illegal tax money to an organization which is a Wildlife Rehabilitation and Nature Preservation Society, Inc., in Mississippi.

The Department of Marine Resources is totally in charge of the Tidelands Trust Fund and the Secretary of State does not bother with how the grant tax dollars are spent.

There are other Wildlife Rehabilitation Centers in Mississippi, why is it WRANPS is the only one which has obtained over one hundred thousand dollars from the Department of Marine Resources and no others have received grant tax dollars.

I am requesting a list of the amount of Tidelands Trust Fund money which has been given to WRANPS this includes all years and amounts.

Or provide me with a name, email address, and person which can and will provide me with the information I am requesting.

I will build a web page in order for the tax payers of Mississippi see how there tax dollars are spent and let the people decide if the Secretary of State of the Department of Marine Resources should be in charge of the Tidelands Trust Fund of Mississippi.

Please reply,

Sincerely,

Please contact the department of marine resourses who schedules allocation of these funds as to expenditures.

I do not want to deal with the marine resources, I want the SECRETARY OF STATE, to tell me whether of not he is allowing grants, tax payers money, to be allocated to the, Wildlife Rehabilitation & Nature Preservation Society, Inc., WRANPS,. That's what I want to know, it is an easy question to answer.

Since the Secretary of State is sonly in charge of the Mississippi Tidelands Trust Fund, he should know if the MDMR is providing grant money to WRANPS.

PLEASE ANSWER THE QUESTION AND REPLY,

Sincerely,

TO: SECRETARY OF STATE

I am taking your response as an insult from a voter of the Secretary of State, by not allowing the Secretary of State to answer my questions tells me he is out of touch with the Mississippi voters and his constitutes of Mississippi.

I will be taking all of our correspondence from the Secretary of States office and build a web page showing how our elected officials treat the people of Mississippi.

I have not disrespected the Secretary of State, but rather gave him the opportunity to provide an answer to my question. Delbert Hosemann run on a platform of the people, for the people, and by the people of Mississippi.

I have come to the conclusion that the Secretary of State has no idea how the Mississippi Tidelands Trust Fund is being spent, but rather he is left out in the cold concerning these grants.

Please see that the Secretary of State, the man of the people, (supposedly) will read this email.

Please respond,

Sincerely,
