It is sad knowing that the Parrotheads Club is also a SCAM organization, and that is my perception, or this club does not know the history behind WRANPS, Inc. and its SCAM practices.

The Parrotheads Club must not no about the close to $95,000.00 it has SCAMMED from the taxpayers through the Mississippi Tidelands Trust Funds.


The Towns Around Biloxi Parrothead Club president David Barnes and Treasurer Mike Ducote recently presented a check to Dianne Hunt from the Wildlife Rehabilitation and Nature Preserve Society. The funds were raised from the Fifth annual Beach Volleyball Tournament at the Ocean Springs Yacht Club that the Parrothead Club holds every year in September. I hesitate to dignify your message with a reply, but I think it is important to point out a few things.  I believe that most rational individuals, upon reading your lengthy rants against such a variety of individuals and institutions would consider the true worth of these attacks.  But, some may not.  I do not mind you suppying further exposure to our charitable endeavours.  We also contibute regularly to Alzheimers research.  Perhaps you can find some way to attack that cause or one of the many others (soup kitchens, domestic violence shelters, humane society, our troops, etc.).  I would like to caution you that the use of PHIP's logo without their permission could be a very bad move.  There are registered rights being violated, and I don't think you understand the implications.  I am offended by your labelling our group as a "scam" organization.  You may have your past troubles and subsequent beliefs of being wronged.  You may also think that those in control of the taxpayers' moneys can all be "taken in".  But, I don't see how your attack on us and them could help your cause.  That is, if your cause is to truly seek justice.  Kindly leave us out of your crusade, and be very aware that there are laws to protect individuals as well as groups against libellous diatribes.

The fact that WRANPS, Inc. is a SCAM organization by having screwed me out of $7,790 in labor and materials, plus profit and stolen tools gives me the right to complain of any organization which helps WRANPS, Inc.

I must respectfully request that you remove the logo of Parrot Heads In
Paradise, Inc. (which is service marked BTW) and any reference to Parrot
Head Clubs being SCAM organizations. Mr. Caleb if you had done the research
on Parrot head Clubs that you have diligently done on other organizations
you would realize that Parrot Head Clubs are social organizations that
promote charitable and environmental causes. We support many different
organizations throughout the world. We are a totally volunteer organization,
no one and I mean no one receives a salary for any of the work we do. Last
year the local clubs contributed combined over $1.5M to charity and
environmental causes. They also contributed 364,731 in volunteer hours to
various charitable and environmental causes.

Now, you seem to have a problem with WRANPS and feel that any organization
that is associated with them in any way is also what you call a SCAM. That
may be your opinion, but right now sir, please note that you are very close
to being libelous and you are using the Parrot Heads In Paradise, Inc. logo
without permission. This logo is service marked and therefore may not be
used without permission. I will appreciate your removing it as soon as
possible.

I am sorry for not returning your emails sooner, but I was at work and too busy to reply to personal emails. Okay, first of Mr. McCaleb if you wish to do a search for Parrot Heads In Paradise, Inc.  why not try "Google" you will find the organization a lot easier. Please note, that Parrot Heads In Paradise, Inc. is the National organization that all the local clubs belong to. Much like the Military Order of the Purple Heart is the parent organization for the Gulf Coast Chapter that you are a Past-Commander of.
 
Now, last night when I emailed you I was under the impression that you were a reasonable man. After all you are a Veteran, and a Navy Vet on top of that. I mistakenly believed you would be quick to correct a mistake that you had inadvertently made. But, I now see that you are so single minded in your crusade against WRANPS that you are blinded to what the truth is. Actually I am not sure if you are so much blinded or that you really do not care for the truth. You feel that because you have supposedly been wronged, and I say supposedly because yours is the only side of the story I see, that anyone who would dare support an organization has to be just as bad as they are. Well, Mr. McCaleb how would you feel if someone who took exception to your words, decided that because you were a Past-Commander of the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Military Order of the Purple Heart that all holders of this precious award were just like you; arrogant and egotistical narrow minded people. Now, I know for a fact that this is not true. As a Viet Nam Era Veteran, like you, and a Navy Vet, like you, that not all holders are arrogant, egotistical narrow minded people.

Mr. McCaleb, you publish your web site and list things as your opinions. As an American Citizen you are guaranteed the right to your opinion. But, when your opinion borders on libel then you are treading on my rights as an American Citizen. By labeling our organization as a SCAM without bothering to do any research you are denying us our rights as American Citizens. There was a time when your website would have been labeled as "yellow press". But, in reality it is nothing more that irresponsible journalism i.e.: TRASH.
 
Mr. McCaleb; I pity you... you have let this thing fester in your soul until it has eaten away and left you nothing.
