The, "Mississippi Public Records Act of 1983" is very similar to the federal, "Freedom of Information Act."
Their are no differences in the two, when voters and taxpayers request information from either of these, chances are you will not get an answer.
I have made request many times on both of the public records act and freedom of information act. But requesting information and getting information are two different things.
Our lawmakers passed the bills which were supposed to give us, "We the People" a way to get information. But our lawmakers also changed the rule in there favor as too not provide us with the information.
This goes back to who is serving the public in the state we live in, we keep electing these people in office and they in turn believe they a doing us a favor by being our elected officials.

I have requested E-Mail addresses of Mississippi elected officials and state agencies, but with limited success. It as though they believe the own these email addresses, but them again they believe we work for them.
I have requested the E-Mail address of the Mississippi, Harrison County Building Code Office for years. But is seem our elected officials do not want that email address to get out.

I have been blocked by elected officials and state agencies where I could not send email through. This is why "We the People" of Mississippi need to start voting for new elected officials and state agency workers.

When Mississippi became so corrupt that serving the voters and taxpayers of Mississippi was considered a privilege. That is when the Mississippian's need to have an initiative too remove corrupted officials. This initiative action should begin at the top with the Governor.

The Governor had hired a point man to make sure his standing in Mississippi is up. He even pay's this person more money (your tax dollars) than his own salary.

Let's take a look at our Harrison County Supervisors, aren't they a group you would want to take home to mama. I requested the Governor too remove all of the Supervisors for the reason of corruption.
But, as you can guess I never received a response concerning my request.

Our legal system has got to be the worst in all of the 50 states. Mississippi is usually 50 out of 50 states in education and health for our children. This is not the fault of our schools, but the Mississippi Education Department.

I have since 1991 have been working on getting paid for material, labor, stolen tools, and profit on a contract job.
The organizations name is, " THE WILDLIFE REHABILITATION & NATURE PRESERVATION SOCIETY, INC."
The location of WRANPS is on land owned by the, "University of Southern Mississippi" (USM).
WRANPS is protected by numerous elected officials and state agencies.
This is the reason I started my own web site, so I could show how corruption works in Mississippi.
