I have over the past eleven years been trying to get the, Wildlife Rehabilitation & Nature Preservation Society, Inc., 23228 Woodland Way Pass Christian, MS., 39571, (228-452-2270), ktraina@aol.com.

But after investigating WRANPS I have found just how corrupt our Mississippi elected officials and state agencies are.

It goes all the way to the top of Governor Ronnie Musgroves staff, beginning with the Secretary of State, Eric Clark and many, many others.

I have sent e-mail after e-mail to elected officials and state agencies but not getting the information I have requested.

One of the ways our government hinders a person from obtaining information is the cost of acquiring information.

Which if you think about this, you will see that when you request information it should not cost you anything.

Taxpayers pay the elected officials and state agencies to maintain documents for the public, so you have in fact paid for your requested information.

But when you request for information they charge you once again, and every time after that, this should be against the law.

I have over the years requested by e-mail, information, but it seems our tax paid elected officials and state agencies would rather you didn't request for information.

It's like they own these public documents and it's to troublesome having to produce documents you may want to acquire.

For example, I have requested information about how the Wildlife Rehabilitation & Nature Preservation Society, inc., received $70,000 of your tax dollars over the FY 1997, 1998, & 2000.

According to the PEER Committee WRANPS was not eligible for the money they received. The tax money came from the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources/Tidelands Trust Fund.

The Secretary of State, Eric Clark, oversees this Tidelands Trust Fund with the taxpayer’s money disbursed by the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources.

When any tax dollars are disbursed illegally it becomes a case of Fraud, Waste & Abuse, and in this case the list is very long.

I have several times contacted the Governor, Ronnie Musgrove, about this matter, but like all Mississippi Politicians it's in their favor to ignore you.

I have several web pages on my web site, ( www.mississippiwebsite.com ) I would like to request you browse my web site in order to get the big picture about Mississippi Corruption.
