4 HATCHERY" LOCATED IN HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED
5 PURPOSES.
6 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
7 SECTION 1. (1) The Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and
8 Parks is hereby authorized to transfer and convey to the
9 Department of Marine Resources certain state-owned real property,
10 known as the "Lyman Fish Hatchery" located in Harrison County,
11 Mississippi, and more specifically described as follows:
12 PARCEL ONE
13 TOWNSHIP SIX (6) SOUTH, RANGE ELEVEN (11) WEST, ST.
14 STEPHENS MERIDIAN: In Section 17, part of the W 1/2 and
15 in Section 20, part of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 and all
16 of the E 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4, all more
17 particularly described as follows:
18 BEGINNING at Corner 1, the south sixteenth corner
19 between sections 18 and 17, in the center line of old
20 U.S. Highway No. 49, a point; thence along the center
21 line of said highway with six (6) courses, N 0°11' E,
22 223.74 feet, N 2°27' E, 660.00 feet, N. 7° 52' E, 324.06
23 feet, N 3°54' E, 477.18 feet, N 15°02' E, 785.40 feet, N

55 operations of the fish hatchery are transferred.
56 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from
57 and after its passage.
